Had a great trip on the Tara Anne. Captain Nick and the crew were very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions we had. They worked tirelessly to find the fish and when they did they worked even harder trying to keep up with all the fish coming over the rail. They were eager to help the two young boys we had along and ensured they had a great experience. If you’re a seasoned fisherman or a beginner with a family I highly recommend chartering a trip with them. We’re already planning next year’s trip!!

Capt Joe & Capt Nick are the best fishermen in South jersey. They give you your money worth & make your day an awesome family experience. I have been fishing with them for years & i wouldn’t change anything. They are the best, family oriented business in the wildwood’s.

Fishing on the Tara Anne is the best day of our vacation! The captain and mate are very knowledgeable and friendly. The boat is clean, well-maintained and has comfortable seating in the shade. The trip includes fishing rods, reels, other gear and bait. At the end of the trip, your fish are filleted and bags are provided for the fillets. All you need to bring is food and drinks.

What could have been a mediocre day was anything but that! Just before our scheduled arrival, Capt Nick let us know the morning trip hadn’t yielded much and the water conditions were less than perfect - he left it up to us whether we’d like to do the trip or not. We decided to roll the dice and go for it - and we’re happy we did! Capt Nick and Brian were both personable and knowledgable - answering all the questions we asked and sharing some great stories along the way - we even got to share a great dolphin story we heard. Onto the fishing! With no guarantees and the warning that morning run wasn’t very fruitful, we prepared ourselves to not catch much. But we sat out there enjoying the water and sharing some laughs until, suddenly, we got a bite! There were three of us on the trip and we each had the opportunity to reel in a shark. I’m no expert at all - but they were saying each one was probably around 150 - 200 pounds! We had an absolutely wonderful day on the water and each of us now has a new and exciting fishing story to tell our friends - with pictures to prove it! Highly recommend - 5 stars - would do this again!

Captain & mate were awesome. They put us right on the target species, had excellent gear, and helped us pull up as many fish as we could. I highly recommend this boat! Great experience!

My girlfriend booked this trip for me as a birthday gift. This is one birthday I will remember for a long time. Captain Joe and First Mate Brian are top notch. We were on fish the entire trip. And even if the bite slowed a little (which hardly happened )there was plenty of conversation to pass the time. All together there were 6 of us with plenty of fish to go around. If you are looking for an awesome fishing trip with a personable crew, Tara Anne Sport Fishing is the way to go. We will definitely be back!

An absolute 10/10 experience. Captain Joe and his first mate Joey were very knowledgeable and made the trip easy and fun for everyone. Would definitely recommend for anyone!

What a trip....6 guys caught 14 sharks. We had to quit because are arms were cooked. All of the were released to fight another day. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME.

We had the absolute best time with Captain Nick and First Mate Joey on their vessel the Tara Anne Sportfishing! From the moment we got on the boat, Captain Nick and Joey made us feel completely at ease—they were so kind, knowledgeable, and calming, especially for those of us who were a little nervous since it was our first time. Both were patient, explained everything clearly, and made the trip fun and relaxed from start to finish. Our group included two teenagers and two adults, and we all had an absolute blast. We caught bluefish and Spanish mackerel, and Captain Nick and Joey made sure we understood how to handle everything safely. They also pointed out things about the area and the fish, making it a great learning experience too. The communication was excellent, the atmosphere was light and fun, and we always felt safe and taken care of. To top it all off, the fish we caught tasted amazing once we cooked them up. The whole experience exceeded our expectations—it was better than we could have imagined and definitely a memory we’ll cherish. Highly recommend Tara Anne Sportfishing. The experience is perfect for both first-timers and seasoned anglers. We can’t wait to go again!

Best fishing trip! Captain Joe was very accommodating and his crew was amazing. My sons had a blast and caught so many fish. My boys are big into fishing and they gave it a 10-10. This will now be a staple for our family every year!
