We ran a 6hr trip today.  Trolling was a little slow but we managed to get some nice size blues. We ran into the reef to bottom fish towards the end of the trip and had some throwback flounder and seabass.  We still have dates available for July and we are booking for August. We haven’t been able to fish the past two days due to the bad weather, but we will be back at it tomorrow morning. The results for the 2026 Best of Jersey Shore was released.  With everyone’s help we took second place for Silver this year. <p><div>We had a great 8hr trip today.  Started off trolling limited out on blues and had 3 Spanish mackerel. Then ran in on the reef managed out limit of seabass and 2 triggers. The one trigger weighed in at 4.3lbs.  Plenty of action the whole trip.  We still have dates available for August and are booking for September. The inshore trolling and bottom fishing for flounder should remain good through September.  </div></p>

<p><div>This little guy did great.  We ran two trips today, the morning we limited out on blues, had some Spanish mackerel then bottom fished managed 5 keeper bass and a few throw back flounder.  Afternoon we limited out again on blues and had a Spanish mackerel. </div></p>

Excellent 4hr trips

<p><div>Great 6hr trip.  Started the day off trolling, limited out on blues and had 10 Spanish mackerel. We then ran into the reef had plenty of action got some Seabass and caught a 23” flounder.</div></p>

<p><div>Great morning bottom fishing.  Got our 6 man limit of seabass, 2 nice triggers and some throwback flounder.  If you’re interested in a bottom fishing trip the last day for seabass is August 31st. Flounder is open till September 25th.  The triggers should hang around with this warm water.</div></p>

<p><div>Today we ran a 6hr trip.  The first half of the trip we trolled had plenty of action. We limited out on bluefish and had a spanish mackerel.  Second half the trip we bottom fished, again had plenty of action.  Managed 4 nice size seabass and a trigger fish. </div></p>

<p><div>We have still been doing good with the inshore trolling trips catching mainly bluefish, with some spanish mackerel and bonita in the mix. Trolling trips are great for all experience levels anf usually provide the most action.</div></p>

<p><div>We had a 6hr trolling trip.  The bite was great we caught some really nice size bonita, a few big spanish mackerel and blue fish.  </div></p>

<p><div>The inshore trolling is still good. The past few days have been primarily blue fish with an occasional spanish mackerel or bonita.  The flounder bite is picking up with more keeper size being caught and there are still nice size seabass around.</div></p>

<p><div>Another great 4hr trolling trip.  The morning started off slow with not alot of action, then the bite turned on.  We end the trip with 3 fish shy of our limit of blue fish and managed to get a bonita and spanish mackerel.  The inshore trolling bite should remain good till Mid September.  </div></p>

<p><div>We ran 2 four hour trips today inshore trolling. The bite in the morning was slow but we managed to still put a catch together.  The afternoon trip was like a completely different day.  We limited out on blue fish trolling. The trolling usually remains good till mid September and is a great option if your taking kids.  </div></p>

<p><p><div>The inshore trolling bite is starting to heat up. Blue fish, Spanish Mackerel and Bonita are being caught. The bottom fishing is producing mixed catches of Flounder and Seabass.  Seabass remains closed until July 1st. The Inshore trolling is great for all experience levels and is especially great for kids with plenty of action. </div></p></p>

<p><div>Today the trolling bite was slow, managed to pick up a dozen blues.  So we switched over to bottom fishing with plenty of action.  Plenty of nice size seabass still being caught but the season remains closed until July 1st.  We managed to catch 3 flounder and a nice size trigger fish.  </div></p>

<p><div>The Seabass season was great this year but sadly the seabass fishing is coming to an end on June 19th.  The flounder fishing and inshore trolling are starting to pick up.  Looks like its gonna be a great July and August fishing season. </div></p>

Fishing conditions in Wildwood, New Jersey are steadily improving as spring sets in, bringing a variety of species within reach for local anglers and visiting charters. Striped Bass continue to dominate the bite in the back bays and around bridges, with most action happening during outgoing tides. Anglers using live bunker, bloodworms, and soft plastics are reporting steady hookups, especially during early morning and evening windows.

Fluke (Summer Flounder) season is starting strong, with anglers picking up keeper-sized fish in the channels and near drop-offs using bucktails and Gulp baits. Bluefish are showing up more frequently along the jetties and inlet mouths, attacking surface lures and cut bait. These aggressive feeders are providing fast-paced action during outgoing tides.

Further out, Black Sea Bass are active on nearshore wrecks and reefs. Party boats and charter trips are reporting solid catches when anchoring over structure with clam and squid rigs. Anglers should also keep an eye out for Weakfish, which are expected to arrive in greater numbers as water temps climb.

With improving weather and warming water, now is a great time to plan a trip or book a Wildwood fishing charter. Whether you’re fishing inshore for back bay favorites or targeting reefs just off the coast, the bite is only getting better.
